Can You Get the Hidden Blade in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? What You Need to Know

Recommended Videos

Ever since the first AC game, which released over a decade ago, the Hidden Blade that Altair used has become an iconic weapon. Exploring Italy in the Ezio trilogy, assassinating bad guys, was a lot of fun. It was so popular that it’s been a key part of the season up until now. Now that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has released, you might be wondering if the weapon returns. Well, here is everything you need to know about if you can get the Hidden Blade in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Unfortunately, you cannot get the coveted blade, at least for now. Don’t fret, you can still assassinate bad guys in Ubisoft’s game. This time, however, your hidden weapon (the one that you assassinate with) is the Spear of Leonidas, which is an item that links the main story and the modern story. Due to the Ancient Greece setting, the iconic blade is not something that your character uses.

Just that mighty spear of Leonidas for you, the granddaughter or grandson of the king!

Don’t fret, of course, because the spear acts the same as any ol’ assassin’s blade. You’re still going to be able to pull off the stealthy moves that fans of the series know and love. Catch an unsuspecting enemy and they’ll be done for. Position yourself overhead of them and they’ll be done for.

However, that doesn’t mean you won’t ever be able to see it in within the game. The Hidden Blade is due to be a part of the recently announced DLC. The DLC is part of the game’s Season Pass. It will appear in the first DLC release, called Legacy of the First Blade. It is slated for a December launch and tells the tale of how the first one was used. You can buy the Season Pass now so that you do not miss out once the DLC releases.
