One of the most exciting features in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the return of naval combat, seafaring, shanties and of course, ship customization. All but vacant from the series since Black Flag, ship customization allows players to make their ship truly theirs. One of the coolest ways to do that is by switching in and out different figureheads. You might be wondering how to get them. Well, fear not. We’ve got you covered. Here’s how to get figureheads for the ship in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

In Black Flag, you could buy a figurehead at the local ship customization shop. Sadly, that is not the case this time around. While you can customize your ship in a number of ways by simply going to the proper menus, to equip a new figurehead, you’re going to have to put in some serious work.

To acquire some of the different ones you can get, you’re going to have to actually acquire some heads. Does that make sense? Simply put, you need to kill figures like Medusa, the Minotaur or even the Sphinx. These heads will be the ones you can place right on your boat, showing them off proudly..

Defeating these foes is no easy task, but with enough perseverance, their heads will be yours. Once that is complete, head to the ship customization menu, search the for the head and equip it. Here’s the full list and how to get each one:
