Is There Single Player in Apex Legends? Answered

Recommended Videos

Respawn’s new battle royale game, Apex Legends, has just released. As you’d expect, it’s a last man standing multiplayer experience. But i you’re the sort of player that prefers gaming alone, is there single player in Apex Legends? We’ve got your answer.

Well, Apex Legends actually plays a little differently than other battle royale games. Unlike others that let you choose between one and four players, Apex Legends is played exclusively in trios, joining up with two friends or strangers.

Currently, as of Feb. 5, that is the only way to play Apex Legends. There is no solo or duos option in the game, with teamwork and communication being an important factor.

Of course, since solo play is so popular in the likes of Fortnite, it is pretty likely that it will be added to the game sometime in the future, once the player base has settled down. We will be sure to let you know here if or when that is ever added.

As for a standard single player type mode, that’s very unlikely to ever be added. Like the aforementioned battle royale competition, Respawn’s game is a free-to-play title that’s online multiplayer only. There is no single-player or story mode of any kind, with the only solo play included being the brief tutorial that begins the game.

That’s everything you need to know about if there is single player in Apex Legends. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite. We’ve included some other helpful guide for you down below.
