How to Get Multi-Kills Easily in Anthem
As you progress through Anthem’s story, you’ll eventually come across the Legionnaires Tombs that task you with ticking off certain feats. Problem is, the Trial of Cariff tasks players with getting 3 multi-kills in order to open it up. This is causing a lot of players some problems, so we’re here to help. Here’s how to get multi-kills easily in Anthem.
What the Requirements Are
In order to get yourself a Multi-Kill in Anthem, you’ll need to kill a ton of enemies in quick succession, as the name suggests.
Specifically, as noted by Anthem’s Technical Design Director, BrenonHolmes, over on Reddit, to get a Multi-Kill, you need “8 kills with a 10 second timeout between each (which resets every time you get a kill).”
Further, Holmes stated that it doesn’t matter how you get the kills, be it ultimate ability, melee, or weapon. However, it’s worth noting a number of players have had some issue with getting the multi-kills required for Trial of Cariff to pop using an Ultimate Ability. It may be a bit bugged, so keep this in mind if you’re having no luck.
This may sound like quite the tricky feat to achieve in Anthem, particularly when you’ve got other players gunning down your targets at the same time. Fortunately, there are a few ways to make this a heck of a lot easier, so keep on reading for tips on how to get multi-kills easily in Anthem.
How to Get Multi-Kills Easily in Anthem
There are a few ways you can make getting Multi-Kills considerably easier in Anthem.
- Play solo to avoid teammates stealing kills.
- Find a Javelin that suits your playstyle.
- Set the difficulty to easy.
First, make sure that you’re playing through an Expedition on your own. We’ve detailed how to play Anthem solo here, but this basically means you don’t have to worry about teammates picking off your potential multi-kill targets in Anthem.
Next, you’ll want to make sure that you’re using a Javelin that not only fits your playstyle, but also enables you to dive into the fray and deal damage out quickly and effectively.
Some players have found that Storm’s Living Flame has been particularly useful, while others find that the Interceptor’s melee attack is great if you can get right into the middle of an enemy group.
Finally, it’s always going to help to drop down the difficulty. By setting things to easy in Anthem, enemies will deal out less damage and will go down faster, too. For a Feat that requires kills in quick succession, this is a no-brainer.
Is There a Multi-Kill Bug?
This is a bit of a strange one. Technically, no? BioWare hasn’t announced that multi-kills are bugged in Anthem, but many players have been having a ton of issues.
Some players have claimed that you can only get the multi-kills for Trial of Cariff in Freeplay, while others have got them completing other missions. Elsewhere, players claim to have got the required amount of kills within the time limit and nothing popping.
With a bit of luck, Anthem’s multi-kills will be cleared up in post-launch patches to make this slightly less aggravating. For now, though, it’s just a case of finding hordes of enemies and giving it your all.
