To find the footwear merchant, head to where his shop is set up in Event Plaza. Talk to him and you’ll see all of the stock he currently has available, and how many bells they cost.

In total, the store features feature a random assortment of 11 items. Those items include shoes, socks, tights, and leggings.

Whatever you decide to purchase will land in our inventory. Open it up, cycle over to the shoes or socks, then press A to equip it.

Keep in mind that Kicks isn’t always going to be at Event Plaza. Instead, he shows up once a week to offer his wears, not following any routine in particular.

It is also important to note that the shoes and socks merchant will only begin appearing at Event Plaza after you upgrade the Resident Services Building. Doing so opens up the space in front of the building, attracting traveling merchants like Kicks.
