CAN YOU CHANGE YOUR NAME IN ANIMAL CROSSING: POCKET CAMP
In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, there’s a lot of options to customize your avatar and set it up exactly to your preference. After signing into your Nintendo account and picking a theme, you’ll be able to create a character. You can pick a boy or girl, select different hairstyles and color, and even different facial features, such as eye color. These particulars can all be changed at any time after you start the game. The only visual feature that cannot be changed is the gender of your character.
Unfortunately, the same goes for the name of your character, too. You are not able to change the name of your character. Once you have chosen a name for your avatar, you will be stuck with that name for the rest of the game, so make sure you’re absolutely happy with it before moving on.
At this stage, there’s been no announcement from Nintendo as to whether this feature will be patched into the game at a later date. If that does happen, though, we’ll be sure to update this page and let you know.
