Sitting on Chairs & Furniture in Animal Crossing New Horizons

If you’ve placed a chair by your beach, or nestled in a cozy corner of your house, sitting in them is incredibly simple. To sit on chairs in Animal Crossing New Horizons, simply walk over to it and continue to walk into it. After a second or so, your character will clamber up onto the chair and sit there happily.

When you want to get off, simply use the left analog stick to move your character away from the chair or furniture that they’re sat on.

If Nintendo does opt to add in the ability to sit or lay down on floors, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know. We wouldn’t be holding our breaths if we were you, though.
