How to Register Songs in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Before you can get into registering any songs in New Horizons you’ll have to pick up some of K.K. Slider’s music. The main way that you’ll be able to do this is in the Nook Shopping option from the Nook Stop machine.

In there you can go to the Special Goods menu. Every day there will be a different K.K. Slider song available there for 3,200 bells. Just like the other Nook Shopping items, it will take one day for the music to get delivered to your home.

Once the music arrives in your mailbox, then it’s time for the fun to begin. Head to any stereo in your home and tap A to interact with it while you have a song in your pocket. That will bring up the music menu (see below) where you can switch the song and register new tracks.

Move the cursor to the register button and press A. This will let you register a song from your pocket. Once that’s done the song will disappear from your inventory and you’ll be able to play it on any stereo in your home. Keep in mind that you can’t register duplicate songs.
