How to Get Hornsby in Animal Crossing New Horizons
If you’re looking to get Hornsby as a villager, there are a few different ways to make that happen. First, you could fly to different mystery islands using Nook Miles Tickets to try and find Hornsby.
If you find him on one of these islands you simply have to talk to him to recruit him to live on your island. It’s important to note that you’ll only find random villagers on islands if you have an empty plot of land.
Another way to invite Hornsby to your island is through Amiibo cards. If you have the Hornsby Amiibo card, you can go to the ATM machine in the Resident Services building and click the Invite Camper button.
You’ll then be prompted to touch the Amiibo card to the Switch to scan Hornsby in. You’ll need to invite a villager and then speak to them at the campsite the next day. So it won’t be an immediate action.
One last way you can invite Hornsby to your island is by visiting a friend who already has Hornsby moving out. You’ll know he is moving out because his house will be packed up in cardboard boxes.
Speaking to him will present the option to join your island if you have space and someone else hasn’t already invited him to their island.
Birthday
Hornsby’s Birthday is on March 20. Since it already happened this year, you won’t have to worry about getting him a gift or attending his birthday party. Just mark your calendar for next year.

Hornsby is considered a lazy villager who loves food and relaxing. He gets along well with all villagers because he is calm and laid-back. The only villager type he may butt-heads with is jock villagers because they do not approve of his non-exercise lifestyle.
