With the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons’ Summer Update #1, players were able to deep sea dive. This unlocked the ability to get pearls, as well as introducing players to Pascal. Pascal would offer up a number of Mermaid Set furniture DIY Recipes, as well as some clothing items. The main thing to know here is that many of the Mermaid DIY Recipes will require Pearls in order to craft. While these can be sold for 10,000 Bells at Nook’s Cranny, we’d suggest saving these whenever you come across them if you’re determined to get the full Mermaid furniture set.
You will need a total of 20 Pearls to craft all Mermaid furniture.

Pascal also has a number of Mermaid clothing items that players can obtain. These do not have DIY Recipes, however, and are just gifted to the player in exchange for specific sea-related items.
- Mermaid Fishy Dress – Given to the player in exchange for a Scallop. Sells for 1,000 Bells at Nook’s Cranny.
- Mermaid Princess Dress – Also given to the player in exchange for a Scallop. Sells for 1,500 Bells at Nook’s Cranny.
- Mermaid Tiara – Exchanged for a Scallop. Can be sold for 1,250 Bells.
- Mermaid Shoes – Exchanged for a Scallop. Sells for 450 Bells.
