Some just give you something nice to look at, whereas others reward you with rare items, or give you a competition to enter. It’s worth noting that Animal Crossing: New Horizons may be getting more events during special updates throughout the year. These will fall in-line with real-life seasonal events, which we’ll be sure to add to the list above as and when they’re announced.

Additionally, almost every day in the calendar year is also one of the many different villagers’ birthdays. We’ve not listed these, as it’s made fairly clear in the game when a villager is celebrating their birthday.
