The Animal Crossing New Horizons version 2.0 update is here, and it adds a variety of new hairstyles that you can give to your character. There are 11 new hairstyles in this update, and there are two things you have to do in order to get them all. If you are looking to give your Animal Crossing character a makeover but don’t know how to get these new styles, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to get all the new hairstyles and what they look like in Animal Crossing New Horizons.
How to Get The New Hairstyles
In order to get all 11 new hairstyles that have been added in the 2.0 update, there are two things you have to do.
The first set of styles from this update can be bought with Nook Miles via the Nook Stop at Resident Services. You’ll see a recipe called Top Fab Hairstyles that you can buy for 1,200 Nook Miles. Immediately after purchasing this, you’ll learn four new fab haircuts. To change your hair, interact with a vanity or mirror to see the new looks and change your style.
The rest of the styles from this update must be learned by Harriet, who is stationed on Harv’s island. You can get there via the airport.
Before Harriet will give you a haircut, you must fully fund at least one shop on Harv’s island. The next day after a shop has been completed, she will offer to style your hair.
Harriet will ask you if she can show you a new style once per day. After she styles your hair, you will be able to use a vanity or mirror to change your hair to this style at any time. There are seven hairstyles to learn from Harriet in total, so if you aren’t time traveling, it will take you about a week to learn them all.
