On PC, all hats will be free. The Plague Mask is actually a hat, not a mask, and is included as a Halloween option. On mobile though, since the game is free, the masks can cost anything between $0.99 and $2.99. You can purchase hats at the computer terminal before a game starts and equip new ones from there too.

How to Get Plague Mask in Among Us

Since the Plague Mask is part of the Halloween set, you need for it to be around the holiday period in the game. Of course, you can wait for that time to come around, but there’s a sneaky way to get the game to think you’re in October.

What you need to do is adjust the date and time on your Among Us system of choice. This can be done on your PC in the taskbar and on your phone in settings via the adjust date and time sections, and you need to set it to Oct. 10, 2019, 11:59pm.

Be sure to turn off the option to set time automatically first, otherwise that’ll revert any changes you make. Lastly, set the time manually by clicking the Change button once you’ve got the time right.

Then, wait until 12 in-game, start a public match, then quit out. Create a new game and open the computer and you’ll see the new hats will have appeared for free, including the Plague Mask. You’ll then be able to wear it before you jump into a new round.
