Ghostwire Tokyo is out later this week, offering up a supernatural twist to the iconic city of Tokyo. Players will step into the shoes of Akito, and embark on an adventure to figure out what caused the spooky disappearance of the city’s population, and the sudden appearance of countless yokai around the various districts. To help make sure you get the most out of your purchase, this Ghostwire Tokyo preorder bonus guide will explain the different in-game items you can get, what’s available in the Deluxe Edition, and if there’s any news on an Xbox edition of the game.
Every Preorder Bonus in Ghostwire Tokyo
By pre-ordering any edition of Ghostwire Tokyo, you’ll get access to the Hannya Outfit. That’s the spooky-looking yokai mask with a broken horn, shown in the image below.
Alongside this, those who preorder the game on PS5 will also get the Premium Biker Outfit Pack, netting you the same style skin but in a bunch of different colors to suit your preference.
The Standard Edition costs $59.99 and can be preordered from the PlayStation Store, Steam or GMG.
Deluxe Edition Contents & Early Access
If you’re looking to get a little more out of your experience with Akito and KK, you can always opt to pick up Ghostwire Tokyo Deluxe Edition.
This comes with the game, as well as the following in-game items:
- Shinobi Outfit & Kunai Weapon
- Streetwear Outfit Pack
It also gets you 3 days early access, so you’ll be able to start playing the game as of Tuesday, March 22, 2022, rather than having to wait until March 25.
The Deluxe Edition costs $79.99 and can be preordered from the PlayStation Store, Steam or GMG.
Is There a Ghostwire Tokyo Xbox Edition?
At the time of writing, Ghostwire Tokyo is only available on PlayStation 5 and PC. This is due to an existing exclusivity contract between Bethesda and PlayStation to make the game a console exclusive to the PS5.
It’s a similar situation that Arcane Studios’ Deathloop suffered from last year, despite Microsoft having already acquired publisher Bethesda’s parent company, Zenimax Media.
