Classic Sound Effects
Monster Hunter: World is cool and all and definitely is the best way to play the series, but do you ever miss those old sound effects from the PSP days? I know I do.
This PC mod from CopperCanister on Nexusmods replaces the majority of sounds and replaces them with the original sound bytes.
Stuff, like sheathing your weapon, drinking a potion, and using a ration, will sound completely different and will make you think about the good ol’ days when Monster Hunter wasn’t as mainstream.
Advanced Training Area
This mod comes from Kef over on Nexus Mods and greatly improves the training area in the game.
Instead of just attacking a tree or some boring barrels, this mod adds static monsters so you can see how the correct damage output and practice hitting them as you would during an actual quest.
There are several large monsters that you can switch in and out as well so you can get a feel for the physics of your weapons. It’s not a crazy mod but it’s useful nonetheless.
All Event Quests Available
Sometimes you won’t have access to all of the event quests present in MHW because they are either timed or will go away once you complete them.
Luckily, this PC mod fixes that issue right up and allows you to play any of the even quests whenever you would like.
You can download this one right here if you’re interested. It’s up on Nexus Mods and comes from noburin0302.
Lucina Enters the Hunt
Lucina gained popularity after appearing as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. and debuting in Fire Emblem: Awakening. If you adore this character, then download this mod as soon as you can.
This mod replaces the normal and layered Ciri sets in the game with a skin based on Lucina herself and she even comes with a unique slinger and a different voice.
You can download this one from Nexus Mods which comes from a user named zStatykz.
Rathalos and Rathian Party
This special event quest mod comes from BattlewornGold over at Nexus Mods and gives players acess to what is probably one of the hardest quests ever.
This pits you against four large monsters at once and the goal is to hunt all of them down by either slaying or capturing them.
Both types of Rathian and Rathalos are the targets so prepare to have lots of fire and poison blown at you at any given moment.
You can download this one right here.
And that does it for the best Monster Hunter: World Mods for August 2019. If you missed out the previous mod article, you can check that one out right here that showcases some sweet mods from July.
