The Order: 1886 Pre-Load and 30MB Day One Patch Available

Spin up the hard drives, folks.

If you digitally ordered your copy of The Order: 1886 on the PlayStation Network, it’s time to load up that system and get the download going. The Order: 1886 went gold on the 17th of January this year and now you can download your own copy ready for the game’s full release tomorrow.

In order to download the full game, you’re going to need to have around 31GB of storage available for the fairly hefty download. If you’ve got a rather sedate connection then it’s probably a good idea to get started now. Luckily, the game’s initial download is only 6.44GB – a fifth of the total size – at which point the game will begin to download in the background.

Alongside this comes The Order: 1886‘s Day One patch. The downloading of this patch is bound to take up much less of your prospective gametime than usual, with it topping out at a frankly miniscule in this modern era 30MB.

The Order: 1886 has been available for pre-order in the PlayStation Store for a fair amount of time now. If you missed out on the opportunity to pre-order the game, developed by Ready At Dawn, you can still go over to the store now and put down the cash while still benefiting from the availability of the pre-load.

If this takes your fancy, then be prepared to pay £49.99/€59.99/$59.99 for the privilege. This pre-order of The Order: 1886 includes access to a special dynamic theme, the game’s soundtrack, and a handful of equipment pieces as part of The Knight’s Arsenal DLC which includes different uniforms and powerful weapons.

Have you pre-ordered the game and are getting your pre-load on right now? Has The Order: 1886 already passed you by or failed to peak any of your interest? Let us know in that little white comments box down below.

Thanks, VG24/7.
