Square Enix Releases Retrospective Trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Everyone needs a recap every once in awhile. With this in mind, Square Enix created this awesome, retro-inspired trailer for their latest installment in the Final Fantasy XIII series, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. If you’re looking forward to playing Lightning Returns  but you feel like you should brush up on elements of the story, just watch the trailer!

I know what you’re probably thinking — “THIS SHOULD BE ITS OWN GAME”. Alas, we must simply make due with our 3D graphics and prerendered cutscenes. You can pick up Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII on February 11th in the United States and February 14th in Europe.
