Enter the shoes of a samurai.

Good news, SMT fans! Altus just announced on their Japanese Twitter account that Shin Megami Tensei IV sold over 600,000 copies worldwide. And to celebrate the good sales of the game, they’ll also be releasing an ‘Atlus Best Collection’ version of Shin Megami Tensei IV in Japan.

This rereleased version of the game is currently exclusive to Japan and it’ll be available on October 8 for 2.980 yen. Unfortunately, seeing as how the Nintendo 3DS is region locked, you won’t be able to import this new version of the game unless you own a Japanese 3DS.

Shin Megami Tensei IV tells the story of a samurai in training who ventures up to modern Tokyo and has to ultimately decide whether he wishes for the world to remain in a state of conformity or descend into a spiral of chaos. You can check out the game’s official website here.
