Well the internet is currently busily exploding over the fact that Konami just gave everyone a release date for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. That’s not what we’re here to talk about that. Thanks to the other side of the internet, it looks like Amazon Italy may have just leaked a European release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X on WiiU.
The long awaited game, which follows on from the original Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii and is itself being ported to Nintendo 3DS due for release soon, has been tempting the eyes of Nintendo fans the world over ever since it was first announced. Now we must say that this is just a rumor. Nothing has yet been confirmed and Nintendo could easily deny this but here goes. There’s an Amazon Italy page, found thanks to neoGAF, that shows a release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X as being June 26 2015.
The image above will remain forever, but the actual listing could be taken down or changed if Amazon or Nintendo decides to do so. That’s still cool though right. Getting some sort of date for one of the most eagerly awaited WiiU titles in recent memory is nothing short of fantastic.
Lets just hope that this release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X is correct and sticks. June would be the perfect for a long summer of RPG gaming before the winter rush empties our wallets.
Do you think this is correct, or a simple mistake by Amazon? Does it mean that the release date is due to be officially announced by Nintendo soon? Let us know down in the comments below
