The LinkedIn profile suggests that Bethesda has hired Guillermo del Toro’s production company to create a cinematic trailer for its unannounced RPG Fallout 4, if the profile of this 3D artist who was contracted to work on it is to be believed.

The artist’s ‘experience’ section on LinkedIn details that he was hired by California-based Mirada Studios between December 2014 and March 2015 to create a “Fallout 4 cinematic trailer”. Unfortunately it does not list any further details. However, as you can see in the screenshot below, the artist has a vast wealth of experience creating trailers for other triple A titles such as Forza Motorsport, Far Cry 4 and The Elder Scrolls.

Bethesda has yet to formally announce Fallout 4, but rumors continue to suggest that the game will be revealed during the publisher’s first E3 press conference next month. You’ve got to admit, first the press conference and now this rumored trailer- it’s looking like it’s gonna be a good June for Fallout fans!

Whilst this news doesn’t necessarily mean that del Toro is directly involved in Bethesda’s Fallout 4, it’s still exciting to see a big name linked with such a huge gaming franchise. You can be sure that he’s not going to let the name of the studio he co-founded be tarnished with any old piece of work.

Fallout 4

Since the studio was founded in 2010, it has worked on Walt Disney World’s ‘Be Our Guest’ advert, worked on the music video for Katy Perry’s ‘Dark Horse’ and developed the prologue to 2013’s Pacific Rim.

Whilst nothing is confirmed as of yet, let’s hope that we’ll be seeing the first reveal of Fallout 4 with the rumored cinematic trailer created by del Toro’s studio.

Do you think that the reveal of Fallout 4 is almost guaranteed at Bethesda’s E3 conference following this news? Let us know in the comments below.
