Pokemon Alpha Sapphire & Omega Ruby Eon Tickets Issued

Gotta Streetpass 'em all.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire & Omega Ruby have been sold to loads of people out there in the world. They re-built the classic worlds of Sapphire and Ruby on the 3DS for a whole new generation to enjoy. Each of these games give players hundreds of different Pokemon to catch throughout the title, but there’s one slight problem that Nintendo didn’t foresee. Their intention was to distribute something called an Eon ticket. The pass, originally intended to be distributed via Streetpass, didn’t spread as well as the publisher hopes, so they had to change the parameters.

From right now until March 2nd, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire & Omega Ruby owners can obtain an Eon ticket. This offers players the opportunity to take a trip to the Southern Island. That might not sound like much, but when you consider that the island offers players the opportunity to get the Latios/Latias Pokemon that isn’t available in their own game normally, this thing suddenly has a lot of value.

The offer actually started running on February 27th. You don’t have to actually go to the island right away. You only need to get your hands on the ticket for now and then you’ll be able to head for the Southern Island any time you decide to.

In order to get this Eon Ticket, open up your copy of the game and head to the Mystery Gift area. Then enter POKEMON380381 if you’re European or 2015LATIOSLATIAS if you happen to hail from America.

This is the only way to obtain the Pokemon that isn’t native to your version without trading or pulling it from a previously owned title, so get out there and do it quick.

Are you still playing Pokemon Alpha Sapphire & Omega Ruby? Did you manage to get your Eon Ticket already? Let us know down below.
