First, on July 9, the reveal trailer for the Black Ops III Zombies mode “Shadows of Evil” trailer was released, teasing an all-new zombies mode set within a 1940s pulp / noir setting featuring Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, and Ron Perlman. Second, Treyarch has launched a charity campaign that gives donors the chance to become immortalized (or at least, really really hard to kill) by turning you into a zombified character in future DLC. Third, leaked details revealed that the collector’s Juggernog edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops III comes with its own Juggernog soda perk machine mini-fridge along with a number of other pre-order exclusive content. Not surprisingly, by now, most (if not, all) retailer pre-order offers are completely sold out due to extremely high demand.

Today, July 11, 2015, Treyarch has released yet another trailer to get hordes of fan plenty excited over – “The Giant” Zombies Bonus Map Trailer.

That’s right, zombie hunters. The classic map, “The Giant”, also lovingly known as “Der Reise” from both the Call of Duty: World at War and the original Black Ops, rises from the grave once more. “The Giant” will be an exclusive map available with the purchase of the Black Ops III Collector’s Edition. The map will continue the epic storyline featuring the younger versions of Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo right after the events of the “Origins” Zombie map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

The trailer reveals a beast of a map that is both familiar and new. The beginning dialogue of the trailer features Dr. Ludvig Maxis and his daughter Samantha as they are locked within the teleporter by Richtofen and transported away, which has been teased and integrated repeatedly in past Zombies Maps. “The Giant” map feels undoubtedly like its predecessors ranging from the classic sound effects and the teleportation machines. The map description in the Collector’s Edition promises the fated return of the Pack-A-Punch machine. I don’t know about you but craving this as much as the undead are craving the flesh of our brazen protagonists.
