Sales were a little slow back in the early days of the PS4, but the exclusive release of 2008’s Metal Gear Solid IV got people interested in it. With the new generation of consoles here, Sony is also making sure to appeal to MGS fans with a special edition that’s as shiny and flawless as Snake’s stealth suit-wearing ass.
According to Sony’s Japanese store, a special version of the PS4 (called the FOX Edition) will be available in March, with a copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes boxed in. At this time, it’s not known whether it will be made available to North American or European audiences. In the meantime, it might be a good time to call in a favor from one of your Japanese friends.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is set for release on March 18, 2014. The FOX Edition PS4 is priced at 46,980 Yen (approximately $470 American).
