Persona 5 has been one of the hot topics of Tokyo Game Show this week, and we’ve received a wealth of tantalizing details. The newest details from Japanese magazine scans shed a little more light on the story setup, and also give us a name and Persona for the game’s fifth party member, Yuusuke Kitagawa. We caught our first glimpse of Yuusuke in a video Atlus released this week showing us the opening theme of Persona 5. The information follows.
Story
Our heroes shake up the big city as the “Heart’s Phantom Thieves.” They send notice in advance to persons to confess their crimes and reform, and set out to steal the “rotten hearts” from “rotten adults” for the sake of changing a rotten world.

Fifth Party Member
The fifth member of the Phantom Thieves is a young man named Yuusuke Kitagawa, voiced by Tomokazu Sugita. His persona is Goemon. He is a scholarship student that attends the Kousei Public High School as part of the academy’s art course. He is a live-in disciple of his Japanese painter landlord Madarame.
Atlus released a new trailer at TGS this week showing us new information, as well as a delay for the game. Persona 5 will now be releasing in summer of 2016 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Katsura Hashino, the director of the game provided an apology and explanation for the delay. An anime special for the game is also under production.
