The Monopoly: Fallout Collector’s Edition is finally up for pre-order, giving us a first look at the Fallout-inspired board and game pieces.
The game is covered in references to all four Fallout games, with properties including popular locations like Vault 111, The Washington Monument, and Sanctuary Hills. Players will upgrade their properties with Vault-Tec approved Shacks and Vaults rather than Hotels and Houses, and the bank will be shelling out special Fallout Monopoly money printed with Nuka-Cola bottle caps. Chance and Community Chest Cards are also now Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide and You’re S.P.E.C.I.A.L. cards.
Choosing the right token is 90% of Monopoly strategy, so Fallout Monopoly will come with “6 collectible tokens with a wasteland inspired distressed finish.” Choose your Fallout spirit token from a 10mm Pistol, a MiniNuke, a Nuka-Cola Bottle, a Power Armor Helmet, a Vault Boy, and a Vault 111 door.
Last week, Bethesda got into details on Fallout 4‘s planned DLC and mod kit, announcing the season pass and when we can expect mod support on PC.
The Fallout dev is also releasing a series of videos going in-depth on S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, starting with Strength and Perception.
