In addition to all the awesome stuff they’re giving out for Smash Bros and the port of Mother, Nintendo is now putting out free demos for nine of their upcoming indie games. As part of their Nindies@Home program, anyone with a WiiU and an eShop account will be able to download the demos from now until next Monday the 22nd. When the full games launch, anyone who downloads the demos will get 15% off the final product for a full month.
The nine games in question are Ripstone’s paranormal platformer Extreme Exorcism; sci-fi title forma.8 from Mixed Bag, GalaxyTrail’s Freedom Planet, Lovely Planet from tinybuild and Qucktequila, Renegade Kid’s Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, Rive from Two Tribes, 13AM Games’ Runbow, Soul Axiom from Wales Interactive, and Typoman from Headup Games and Brainseed Factory. Thus far, it looks like Freedom Planet is the only one with a release date of August 3, but that’s sure to change as the week goes on.
