They Dun Goofed! Kingdom Hearts III Will NOT Be Released in 2015

It's doubtful that many people actually believed in a 2015 release anyway.

We reported yesterday that Bill Farmer, the voice actor of Disney icon Goofy, had tweeted that Kingdom Hearts III would be released this year. Well, Square Enix has since stepped up and announced via Twitter that this was a mistake and that the release date for Kingdom Hearts III had not yet been confirmed.

Well, to be honest, I think we all knew it was a mistake anyway. As series director Tetsuya Nomura has said countless times, Kingdom Hearts III will only be released after Final Fantasy XV’s launch. This means we still have quite a long time to kill that game ever sees the light of day.

Kingdom Hearts III was announced at E3 2013 and will be released on the PS4 and Xbox One at some unknown point in the future.
