The first trailer for the movie Dead Rising: Watchtower, based on the titular series Dead Rising, has been released on YouTube. The trailer shows off many connecting points between the movie and the games. Staples from Dead Rising will make an appearance including the drug Zombrex, Combo Weapons, what looks to be the original hero Frank West, government conspiracies, and of course…zombies. Hard to say from the trailer whether the movie will be worth your time or not, but it looks like they’re at least on the right track.
Dead Rising: Watchtower will be streaming exclusively on Crackle starting March 27.
