The D23 expo in Anaheim was hosted over the weekend and plenty of Disney related news was announced. During the It’s Game Time: Disney Interactive Takes the Stage panel, Sony Computer Entertainment’s Adam Boyes took to the stage to announce a very special limited edition PS4.
That’s right, Sony is releasing a special edition PS4 designed to look like something Darth Vader would play when he’s not crushing the rebels and choking out his employees.
The special edition Darth Vader PS4 will be released on November 17 in both North America and Europe and will include Star Wars: Battlefront or Disney Infinity 3.0. The bundle that includes Disney Infinity 3.0 will be exclusive to Walmart and it has not been announced which European countries in particular will be getting the console.
In terms of specs, the console will be part of the CUH-1200 series and will come with a 500GB hard disk. It will come with a Darth Vader themed Dualshock 4 controller plus all the usual accessories. The bundle will also include codes that will allow buyers to download the following old Star Wars games for free; Super Star Wars: Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter and Star Wars: Jedi StarFighter. These games are to be ported with improved graphics and Trophies.
