Back to the Future: The Game Remastered for Current-Gen

The Telltale Games classic gets a facelift, and a new voice actor.

With the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Back to the Future franchise speeding its way down the calendar, Telltale Games will be remastering Back to the Future: The Game from 2010. According to writer and producer Bob Gale in an interview on his own web-series, this means, that gamers will be able to floor the throttle of the Delorean in crisp high definition. It also means that actor Thomas Wilson, who portrayed Biff Tannen in the movies, will re-do all the voiceover work of his character in the game.

Originally, the 2010 version consisted of 5 episodes, and picked up where the third movie left off. At the time of its release, it recieved generally positive reviews, with a few stating that it didn’t quite get the tone of the movies.

The game will be available on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, but as of now, no further information about a release date was given. However, according to a newly created IMDB page for the 30th anniversary edition of the game, the release date is set to be October 13th 2015. As of yet though, no official date has been announced.
