Australia and New Zealand to Get Rare amiibo Restocks

You can get your own "Down Under Holy Trinity" for a limited time only!

You don’t have to be a collector to know that Nintendo hasn’t exactly done a great job of fulfilling the outstanding demand for their NFC figures, those elusive amiibo. They constantly contradict themselves when responding to a fix for the severely lacking quantity of many figures, and many hardcore collectors have all but given up thanks to store exclusives and rabid scalpers. The situation has because to ridiculous that many stores have begun limiting the quantity of amiibo sales to one figure per character per customer when new waves release, and Amazon even had a dedicated schedule for ordering the most recent wave.

Luckily, there is still hope for those of you who missed out on such rare drops as Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Little Mac, and more. Well there’s hope so long as you’re an Aussie or Kiwi, or willing to import.

Nintendo Australia and New Zealand just announced a restock of many hard-to-find amiibo coming to retailers for both countries. They didn’t specify any retailers in particular, or what size of restock to expect, but the list of figures getting a second run include a variety from all waves to date: Bowser, Ness, Villager, Little Mac, Mega Man, Robin, Lucina, Captain Falcon, Charizard, and Wii Fit Trainer.

Along with the restock they have announced a fresh New 3DS bundle exclusive to EB Games in both countries and JB Hi-Fi in Australia. A price is not listed, but the bundle comes with a white New 3DS, a Super Smash Bros. faceplate, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, and an available amiibo of your choice. If you’re in either of these down-under countries, you should probably contact your retailer of choice to see when these restocks will be available.
