Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla marks the latest entry in Ubisoft’s, now, action-RPG franchise. There’s Vikings, longships, and lots of blood, which you should expect from an AC game. This one will be coming out holiday 2020 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Stadia, and PC.
Godfall
Godfall will apparently be the start of a new genre of video games, as Gearbox and Counterplay calls the game a “looter slasher.” Godfall will serve as a PS5 launch title and it’s also coming to PC via The Epic Games Store. It was the first officially confirmed PS5 game.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
Daedalic Entertainment’s next game for next-gen consoles stars Gollum from The Lord of the Rings that will utilize stealth as the primary gameplay mechanic and it’s headed to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
Scarlet Nexus
Scarlet Nexus is a brand-new IP from Bandai Namco and the anime art style just oozes with charm and looks insanely cool from its reveal trailer at the Xbox Series X gameplay event. No release date has been revealed just yet but it’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Bright Memory Infinite
Bright Memory: Infinite was built from the ground-up by a single developer and now the upcoming first-person shooter will be making its way to PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. No release window has yet to be revealed by developer FYQD-Studio.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
Paradox Interactive will finally release Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 in 2020 for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. You can expect lots of vampire action and a narrative that will hopefully have a better story than Twilight.
Outriders
Outriders is a cross-generation cooperative RPG shooter that’s being developed by People Can Fly (Gears of War 2, Bulletstorm). There’s no release date just yet but it’s planned to launch by the end of the year. We hope it ends up being a launch title.
Dirt 5
Dirt 5 from Codemasters will be bigger than any entry in the series, bringing in new cars, tracks, and a bunch of other things that fans will surely appreciate. Dirt 5 will launch this October for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, with a release also planned for PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X.
Destiny 2
Bungie’s first-person, cooperative multiplayer shooter, Destiny 2, will indeed be coming to next-gen platforms but that’s all we know about that for now. Hopefully, Bungie can port it over to the PS5 and Xbox Series X by the end of 2020.
Chorus
Chorus from Deep Silver will be releasing in 2021 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Stadia. This dark space combat shooter will let you experience fast-paced and frenetic action while exploring a mysterious sci-fi world.
Rainbow Six Siege
The online tactical shooter from Ubisoft will be ready to go for PS5 and Xbox Series X at launch. Just last February, the studio laid out a 2-year-plan that goes into 2022.
Dying Light 2
Techland’s Dying Light 2 was unfortunately delayed recently but the developers have confirmed that the game will release across both the current and next generation of consoles. A release date has not been announced yet.
CYGNI: All Guns Blazing
CYGNI: All Guns Blazing is a brand-new title for current and next-gen systems developed by a two-man team that is described as a “twin-stick vertical scrolling shooter hybrid with cinematic flare.” It’s planned to launch in 2021.
Quantum Error
This cosmic-horror, first-person shooter from TeamKill Media is set to launch for PS4 and PS5. Not much is known about the title but it’s being developed using unreal engine.
Observer: System Redux
This remastered version of Bloober Team’s thriller, Observer: System Redux, will launch on next-gen consoles with brand-new story content and expanded gameplay segments. The game is set to launch in Q4 of 2020.
Gothic Remake
THQ Nordic announced that a remake of Gothic, the action-RPG series, will be coming to next-gen consoles and PC but it won’t be launching in 2020.
And those are all of the confirmed PS5 games that we know about so far. We will make sure to update this list accordingly once new titles are revealed.
