The seventh entry in the main Forza series was one of the least surprising reveals of E3 2017. Racing games are excellent for showing off the graphical strength of consoles and Microsoft used Forza Motorsport 7 to do so for the Xbox One X. It looks stunning as always and will release on October 3.
Ubisoft decided to take a year off from Assassin’s Creed to refresh the series and come back with a strong new entry. With Origins, they are taking Assassin’s Creed back to its roots with an Ancient Egyptian setting. It certainly looks different to what we are used to from the series. Assassin’s Creed will return on October 27.
We saw more of Shadow of War at Microsoft’s conference and it clearly builds on what Shadow of Mordor did so well. It has recently been delayed so will be available on October 10.

PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds (Xbox One)
The hugely popular PC multiplayer game will be making its console debut later this year. It will launch exclusively on the Xbox One and there is no news about when it may come to the PlayStation 4. No exact release date has been announced, but it will launch in 'late 2017.'
Middle Earth: Shadow of War
We saw more of Middle Earth: Shadow of War at Microsoft's conference and it clearly builds on what Shadow of Mordor did so well. It's set to be released on October 10 and will show of the power of the Xbox One X in November.
Tacoma
Tacoma, the second game from the developers of Gone Home, finally got a release date at Microsoft's E3 press conference. The story focused game, set on the Lunar Transfer Station Tacoma 200,000 miles from Earth, will come to Xbox One and PC on August 2.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the best games of the year so far and is one of the PlayStation 4's best exclusives yet. The Frozen Wilds is the first single player expansion for Guerrilla's game. We do not know exactly what kind of story it will tell but it will be releasing this fall.
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite
Classic Capcom characters and Marvel heroes fight again on September 19. The release date was finally confirmed at Sony's E3 conference and there is a story demo out now you can test you skills in.
Call of Duty: World War II
We've seen quite a lot from the next Call of Duty title, after the initial reveal and multiplayer event. We didn't get much more info but we saw another trailer at Sony's conference. You will be able to play it on November 3.
Final Fantasy XV: Monster of the Deep

Destiny 2
The Destiny 2 reveal event wasn't that long ago so we didn't see much at Sony's E3 conference. There was a new trailer and news on the upcoming betas. It will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6 and later on PC.
Knack 2
The Knack 2 release date reveal was snuck out during the pre-show of the Sony E3 conference. The sequel to the cute but criticized platformer was initially revealed at E3 2016 and we now know that it will be playable from September 5.
Gran Turismo Sport
GT Sport has been delayed multiple times and we have seen very little from it over the past 12 months. Like Knack 2's release date, the racer's release window was revealed during the pre-show for the Sony conference. Thankfully, it is still scheduled to come out later this year, although no specific date was announced.
Superhot PSVR
Another pre-show reveal was that Superhot is coming to PlayStation VR this summer. Originally released for the Oculus Rift last December, Superhot is one of the best virtual reality games available and will be a must play for any PSVR owners.
Undertale
The charming RPG from developer Toby Fox is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita the summer. It originally came to PC in 2015 and gives players the choice to fight or spare their foes in turn-based battles. There is also a cool physical collector;s version coming for PlayStation 4.
Matterfall

Hidden Agenda
The final announcement that came during the Sony pre-show was the reveal of the next game from Supermassive Games, the developer of Until Dawn. Hidden Agenda is a narrative driven crime thriller that is designed to be played by multiple people, each using their smartphone as a controller. The PlayLink games, including Hidden Agenda, will be available later this year.
Madden NFL 18
As you'd expect from the EA conference, Madden 18 was shown off. Following on from the success of FIFA's The Journey mode, EA revealed Longshot mode, a single-player story mode based on the world of NFL. It will be available on August 25.
FIFA 18
At E3, EA confirmed that Alex Hunter will be returning to FIFA 18 for a new The Journey story. They also revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo played a huge part in upping the authenticity behind the gameplay. FIFA 18 will be available on September 29.

Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar
The next big expansion pack for Battlefield 1 is In the Name of the Tsar. Alongside six new maps, the expansion adds the Russian army to the chaotic multiplayer. In the Name of the Tsar will be available to Battlefield 1 owners in September.
Need for Speed: Payback
After the less than stellar reception of 2015's reboot, Need for Speed is back after a year away. The series is going back to its action packed roots and features a "story, filled with betrayal and revenge." It will release worldwide on November 10.
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Star Wars Battlefront 2 was seen more than any other game at EA's E3 press conference. There was a new story clip and 30 minutes of multiplayer gameplay. We saw new maps and new playable characters. You will be able to play the game on November 17.
Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
We were treated to Mario + Rabbids gameplay at both the Nintendo and Ubisoft shows. We saw Rabbids disguised as many different Mario characters and the turn-based gameplay was given a lengthy demo. It is exclusive to Nintendo Switch and will release on August 29.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
The Fractured But Whole has been delayed a few times but we saw it again at Ubisoft's conference. The new trailer shows off how you choose or design your superhero character. The developer says that it will be cruder and more complex than the last game and it will still release on October 17.
Steep: Road to the Olympics
Steep is getting its first significant expansion pack this December. It will be based around this year's Winter Olympics and will feature multiple sports in the event. The idea is to see you become an Olympic legend. Road to the Olympics will release on December 5.
Dishonored 2 : Death of the Outsider
Bethesda revealed a piece of standalone DLC for Dishonored 2. You'll play as Billie Lurk this time, who will pair up with notorious assassin Daud to kill The Outsider. It will be available physically and digitally on September 15.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends - Heroes of Skyrim
The mobile game's second expansion pack will release on June 29. The Heroes of Skyrim will feature 150 new cards and they will include famous characters from The Elder Scrolls V such as Aela the Huntress, J'Zargo, and Delphine.
The Evil Within 2
The reveal trailer of The Evil Within 2, seen at Bethesda's conference, showed fans quite a lot about the game's story and the suffering of Sebastian Castellanos. It will carry on directly from the events of the first game and will release on October 13.
Wolfenstein: The New Colossus
The New Colossus was originally teased subtly at last year's E3 but it was fully revealed this year. BJ Blazkowicz will once again return to fight the Nazi threat during World War II. It will release on October 27.
Super Lucky's Tale
Lucky's Tale originally released exclusively as an Oculus Rift launch game that came bundled with the headset. It has been re-developed to work without virtual reality for the Xbox One. It's called Super Lucky's Tale and will release on November 7.
Crackdown 3
Crackdown was originally revealed back in 2014 but the release date has been pushed back repeatedly since then. Terry Crews appeared in the E3 trailer and the game will release alongside the Xbox One X on November 10.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm
Before the Storm isn't a sequel to Life is Strange but rather a prequel developed by another studio. It will follow Chloe and will not feature the time manipulation mechanics. Dontnod is still developing a full sequel but the first episode of Before the Storm will release on August 31.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 appeared once again at Nintendo's showcase. There was also a lengthy gameplay demo shown off at the Treehouse event that followed. We do not have a specific release date but it's set to release this holiday season.
Fire Emblem Warriors
Another trailer for the hack-and-slash Fire Emblem spin-off was shown off at E3. It gave us a glimpse at the game's story and the dual protagonists. It will be available for both Nintendo Switch and 3DS this fall.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC
The DLC content included in the Breath of the Wild season pass was detailed at Nintendo's showcase. The first expansion will feature a 'Trial of the Sword' mode that will see players face off against waves of enemies. Pack one will release on June 30.
Rocket League (Nintendo Switch)
Rocket League and Nintendo Switch fans have been shouting for the game to come to the platform since it released. The arcade style gameplay will work perfectly on the go and local multiplayer on separate Switches will be great fun. It will come to the Switch this holiday.
Super Mario Odyssey
Odyssey is this fall's big Nintendo Switch game. The next big 3D Mario game got a new trailer at E3, showing off the new world, and an extensive amount of gameplay was debuted during the Treehouse show. It will release on October 27.
Cuphead
The unique platformer has been shown off by Microsoft for years but it has been delayed multiple times. As the titular character, you need to repay a debt to the devil and it will sell for $20 when it releases on September 29.
