6 Long Forgotten Games We Hope Are At E3 2016

E3 2016 is filled with an abundance of surprised announcements, with some that are at times revealed too soon. In fact, some games, we haven’t heard of in years leaving some to think they’ve been cancelled. Despite this, there are rumors that these games could return at E3 this year. Here are six long forgotten games that we hope are at E3.
Beyond Good & Evil 2

Ubisoft Montpellier’s Beyond Good & Evil 2 was first announced back in 2008 in Paris as a follow up to the critically acclaimed Beyond Good & Evil released in 2003. After confirmation in January from the game’s Director, Michael Ancell that the game was still in development, there’s a strong suspicion that Ubisoft may have been waiting for the adamant moment to showcase the game during their conference this year.

Agent

Agent was teased as a stealth action game set in the Cold War era. Rockstar Games first announced the game as a PlayStation 3 exclusive in 2007 with little else said about the game. With Take-Two registering trademarks for the game in 2013, it’s likely we could see the game at E3 2016 – no doubt no longer as a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Sea of Thieves

Rare’s Xbox One exclusive Sea of Thieves was said to be their most ambitious game yet. The game was described as a co-optional open world adventure about pirates, with players able to sail pirate ships with friends and navigate the seven seas. Unfortunately we haven’t seen anything more than what was first shown at Microsoft’s E3 conference last year. Here’s hoping it comes in full for E3 2016.

Ni No Kuni 2

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is a sequel to Level 5’s brilliant Studio Ghibli inspired Japanese role playing game, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, coming to the PlayStation 4. The game was revealed in Sony’s PlayStation Experience presentation in December last year, however we haven’t heard anything since.

Detroit

Detroit: Become Human is the next game by David Cage’s Quantic Dream, and loosely based on the Kara tech demo. The PlayStation 4 game surprised everyone at Paris Games Week with it’s hyper-realistic motion capturing and rain and lighting effects last October, although not much information has been shared since.

Rime

Rime is an upcoming colorful open-world adventure game by Tequila Works. The game was first announced in 2013 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive but we haven’t seen the game since Gamescom last year. After reports that the developers have cut ties with their publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment, its exclusitivity is doubtful.
