Street Fighter V pops vibrantly with expression in every single frame. With forward compatibility and the PS4 Pro, the colors would pop even better, and with the game still being exclusive to the PS4, it would provide plenty of incentive for people obsessed with graphics and tech to pick up Sony’s system.
Nothing more needs to be said about CDPR’s fantasy series. There’s a wide variety of colors and views on display across the base game and two pieces of DLC. There’d be nothing to lose if it got forward compatibility to look better, especially when visiting the fairy tale world of Toussaint in Blood and Wine.
Okay, so the game is admittedly not all that hot. But if nothing else, it shows how far gaming has come in terms of graphics and cinematic experiences, and it simply deserves to be played and seen in full glory.
Racing sims are some of the most beautiful looking games out there right now. Just the detail in the wheels, the paint job, and the crowd makes Need for Speed one of the best of its kind. Now imagine it on the PS4 Pro…and quit drooling.
Dark Souls III’s gothic horror vibe makes for one of the best looking games of the year. It’s hard to imagine it looking any greater than it already does. And yet…we want it to with the PS4 Pro.
Hideo Kojima’s final time with Solid Snake and company made for one of the best games last year. It deserves to be played at the best quality possible, and that includes at 4K.

The Witcher 3
Nothing more needs to be said about CDPR's fantasy series. There's a wide variety of colors and views on display across the base game and two pieces of DLC. There'd be nothing to lose if it got forward compatibility to look better, especially when visiting the fairy tale world of Toussaint in Blood and Wine.
The Order: 1886
Okay, so the game is admittedly not all that hot. But if nothing else, it shows how far gaming has come in terms of graphics and cinematic experiences, and it simply deserves to be played and seen with the very best that technology can offer.
Mad Max
The Mad Max game followed up on the Fury Road film in several regards, one of which being its outstanding visual design. The desolate wasteland looks breathtaking, and Avalanche's open world title would benefit greatly from a 4K and HDR spruce up.
Need for Speed
Racing sims are some of the most beautiful looking games out there right now. Just the detail in the wheels, the paint job, and the reflection of the headlights on the road makes Need for Speed one of the best of its kind. Now imagine it on the PS4 Pro...and quit drooling.
Dragon Age: Inquisition
BioWare is hard at work putting Mass Effect: Andromeda on the PS4 Pro, and it looks great. All the same, it wouldn't hurt to bring the world of Thedas a little more extra bloom to its cheeks, right?
Dark Souls III
Dark Souls III's gothic horror vibe makes for one of the best looking games of the year. It's hard to imagine it looking any greater than it already does. And yet...we want it to with the PS4 Pro.
Grand Theft Auto V
The amount of detail that Rockstar put into GTA V is nothing short of amazing. Even though it's a port, you couldn't really tell the difference. On PC, the game looks absolutely gorgeous in 4K, but if you don't have the scratch for such a rig, upscaling it for Sony's system would be a nice tradeoff.
Bloodborne
Bloodborne is absolutely disgusting in terms of visual design. Look at this thing with the twenty eyes, it's absolutely gross! But it's also super, super pretty, and it demands to be played in 4K.
Batman: Arkham Knight
The final installment in Rocksteady's Batman trilogy brings a fully realized Gotham City. It's a visually stunning game, and since it's the only one in the series on current gen systems (that's not a port), it should get the visual splendor it deserves.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Hideo Kojima's final time with Solid Snake and company made for one of the best games last year. It deserves to be played at the best quality possible, and that includes at 4K.
Inside
Inside is one of the most gorgeous games of the year, visually arresting in every way. The folks behind Limbo know how to take your breath away, and Inside definitely continues the trend.
Injustice 2
Watching superheroes beat the living crap out of each other in gloriously cartoonish fashion is a treat in and of itself. It'd be foolish if Netherrealm didn't give Injustice an upscaling for PS4 Pro.
SOMA
SOMA is already a creepy as hell game, and it'd look even creepier with a visual upscaling. There's something unsettling about traveling through the space station, and graphics help sell the tension of horror.
Mafia III
Lincoln Clay's upcoming adventures in New Bordeaux already look like they'll be a stunner. With an improved framerate and new resolution, it'd make this mafia one well worth joining.
Infamous: Second Son
It's been two years, and Second Son is still one of the best looking titles on the PS4. It'd be crazy if Sucker Punch was only going to be giving First Light forward compatibility, and doing so would breathe some life into the game's photo mode.
Gravity Rush 2
Gravity Rush 2 already looks to be one of the prettiest games on the PS4, and with such a perspective shifting concept, it would certainly benefit from it on the framerate end. But those visuals, tho...damn, son.
NBA 2K17
Sports and sports games are already used to justify why you should spend your hard earned cash on flashy TVs. NBA 2K17 would instantly be a TV seller at a Costco if you ran it in 4K, and it'd make for one heck of a TV/PS4 Pro bundle.
Battlefield 1
DICE makes beautiful games thanks to that Frostbite engine of theirs, and it'd be crazy if they didn't capitalize on that with the PS4 Pro. Can you imagine riding horseback in the desert, looking that good? It'd be amazing!
Telltale's Batman
Nobody does cel-shaded art styles quite like the folks at Telltale. All of their games that are for the PS4 could be viable for this, but Batman may be their best looking game on the system yet. So it's wise to put your best foot forward.
Destiny
Yeah, the game is two years old, but it's still being played and still looks great. Heck, it'd be worth the upscaling just for the Navigator menu and the planet-based lobbies alone.
No Man's Sky
Say what you will about No Man's Sky, there's no denying that the game looks splendid. Whether you're on foot or in your ship, it truly feels like you're on an astounding trip through the cosmos, and the visuals play a big part in that. A little extra horsepower would help to iron out some of those technical blips that pop up every now and then.
Overwatch
Blizzard's team shooter thrives on energy and vibrancy, both in terms of color in the visuals and the framerate. A boost for both of those things would be a feather in the game's already well-stocked cap.
Ratchet & Clank
Ratchet and Clank games are always amazing to look at. The enhanced framerate boost and 4K will push it to the levels that it has always been shooting for, and it'd be a huge endorsement for the PS4 Pro.
God of War
Come on, it's Kratos. One of the biggest icons of the PlayStation brand. If there's anyone whose adventures deserve to be played on the PS4 Pro, it's definitely him.
