20 Characters We’d Like to See in Fire Emblem Warriors
Fire Emblem is a great fit for Koei Tecmo’s Warriors series, as it’s filled with varied and memorable characters, who each have a specific function. With such a huge roster of character from the series it’s incredibly hard to pinpoint a handful, but here’s a few we’d like to see. It should be noted that Marth, Corrin, Chrom, Xander, and Ryoma have been excluded as their weapons can be spotted in the announcement trailer. Presumably, this could mean they’re already planned to be featured.
Ike is absolutely a no-brainer for Fire Emblem Warriors, as he’s essentially become one of the posterboys of the series. This gruff swordsman is the main character of Path of Radiance, and his attacks pack a serious punch. Ike is a sure fit for a Warriors game, as he could blow away hordes of enemies with only a few strikes.
Cain was one of the first Chevaliers introduced in the very first Fire Emblem game, and he’s a loyal soldier to Prince Marth. He’s skilled with multiple weapons like lances and swords, and is a valuable ally. Recently he was featured in Tokyo Mirage Sessions, adding even more credence to why he should appear in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Robin is the player avatar in Fire Emblem Awakening, and is a skilled tactician that can use both swords and magic tomes. The character is also one of the more popular in recent memory, due to their inclusion in Super Smash Bros. With a mix of swordsmanship and magic, Robin would make for an interesting hybrid character.
Camilla is one of Corrin’s Nohrian siblings in Fire Emblem Fates, and she’s one of the deadliest warriors in the entire kingdom. Camilla may be a little unhinged with her undying affection towards her family, but atop her wyvern mount she can’t be stopped. The axe-wielding Wyvern Rider could be blast to control in a Warriors game.
Roy is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable characters in Fire Emblem, partially because of his inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The swordsman first appeared in Fire Emblem 6 (The Binding Blade) as the main character, and his attacks have a fiery flair to them. Roy seems like a shoe in for Warriors, and could really wreak havoc on the battlefield.
Joshua is a wily gambler you can recruit in The Sacred Stones, but he’s also got a secret identity as the Prince of Jehanna. He’s incredibly skilled with a blade, but leaves most of his decisions up to coin flip. This is something that could really work into his playstyle in a Warriors game, making him a big risk and reward character.
Sigurd is the main character of the fourth Fire Emblem title, and the very first lord character to be mounted atop a horse. He’s a kindhearted man who’s willing to do whatever it takes for his subjects and those he loves. This Holy Knight could bring some nice variation to mounted units in Fire Emblem Warriors, along with some powerful leadership abilities.
The Black Knight is one of the most iconic villains in the entire series, and he’s an unstoppable force for much of Path of Radiance. Clad in enormous black armor, this hulking enemy mercilessly cuts down everything in his path, and comes to blows with Ike more than once. He’d essentially be the equivalent of playing Lu Bu in warriors, but his actual identity could land him on either side of the battlefield.

He's incredibly skilled with a blade, but leaves most of his decisions up to coin flip. This is something that could really work into his play style in a Warriors game, making him a big risk and reward character.
Sigurd - Genealogy of the Holy War
Sigurd is the main character of the fourth Fire Emblem title, and the very first lord character to be mounted atop a horse. He's a kindhearted man who's willing to do whatever it takes for his subjects and those he loves. This Holy Knight could bring some nice variation to mounted units in Fire Emblem Warriors, along with some powerful leadership abilities.
Seth - The Sacred Stones
Seth is the first unit you get in The Sacred Stones, besides Princess Eireka, and he's easily one of the most powerful Chevaliers in the series. He's an incredible asset to any team, and is willing to see his duty through to the end. Seth is nigh unstoppable with a Silver Sword or Silver Lance, and could champion any army in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Shinon - Path of Radiance
Shinon may be cold-hearted, but he's one of the most skilled members of the Greil Mercenaries in Path of Radiance. This agile archer can hold his own against any unit, firing off multiple arrows at once against enemies and would balance nicely against his swordwielding counterparts. He looks out for himself, however, so he may not be your typical "good guy."
Hector - Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword)
Hector is one of the main character of Fire Emblem 7, the first title to make its way to the United States. He's easily the most powerful of the three main heroes, in terms of pure brawn, and wields a deadly greataxe. He's a bit headstrong and rushes into battle without thinking things through, meaning he'd be a big power-based character in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Lyndis - Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword)
Lyndis is another of the main character in Fire Emblem 7, along with Hector and Roy's father Eliwood. She's a deadly swordswoman that pulls off blindingly quick attacks. In Fire Emblem Warriors she'd be an agile character, a bit weaker than your average sword-wielding character, but deadlier in a pinch.
Ephraim - The Sacred Stones
Ephraim is the second main character of The Sacred Stones, and Eirika's brother. He's one of the only lords in the entire series that wields a spear as his main weapon, and boy does he do it to deadly effect. Despite the size of the weapon, Ephraim is incredibly fast. He could easily work as the "Zhao Yun" kind of character in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Micaiah - Radiant Dawn
Micaiah takes over for Ike as the main character in Radiant Dawn, and she's a powerful leader that wields holy magic. Micaiah inspires her followers to do more, and is a natural born leader that heads up the revolution. Her magical abilities make her a bit slower and weaker than other characters, but she could wreak havoc with it in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Leo - Fates
Leo is yet another one of Corrin's Nohrian siblings in Fire Emblem Fates, and he's a cruel and calculating tactician. He'd fit right in as a strategist in Fire Emblem Fates, orchestrating battles and stepping in with his deadly dark magic when needed.
Tibarn - Path of Radiance
Tibarn is the Hawk King of the shapeshifting Laguz kingdom of Phoenicis. He's by far one of the most powerful units in both Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, devastating enemies with his Hawk form. Laguz characters like Tibarn could be some of the most inventive and interesting characters featured in Fire Emblem Warriors.
Lewyn - Genealogy of the Holy War
Lewyn is the prince of Silesse, and one of the most useful characters in Genealogy of the Holy War due to being a bard. When he was younger, Lewyn was a rather flirtatious and mischievous character. His abilities as a bard and magic user could make him a wholly unique character in Warriors, unleashing Elwind on enemies while buffing allies.
The Black Knight - Path of Radiance
The Black Knight is one of the most iconic villains in the entire series, and he's an unstoppable force for much of Path of Radiance. Clad in enormous black armor, this hulking enemy mercilessly cuts down everything in his path, and comes to blows with Ike more than once. He'd essentially be the equivalent of playing Lu Bu in Warriors, but his actual identity could land him on either side of the battlefield.
Odin/ Owain - Fates
Odin Dark is one eccentric character who announces all of his attacks in an incredibly overly dramatic fashion. He also claims his hand always craves battle. He first appears as Owain, a Myrmidon in Awakening, and then returns as a Dark Mage in Fates. Odin could be an incredibly fun character in Warriors, putting a dramatic flair into everything and maybe even switching back and forth between two character classes.
Jaffar - Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword)
Jaffar is a villain for much of Fire Emblem 7, who eventually ends up joining your side. He's also one of the most dangerous and agile assassins around. He's mercilessly cold and ruthless, cutting down enemies easily with his dual daggers. Jaffar would function perfectly in a Warriors game as the quick character, darting in and out of battle.
Camus/ Sirius - Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light
Camus is a character that appears in multiple Fire Emblem games, spending much of his time fighting against Marth as the leader of the Sable Knights of Grust. Interestingly, he loses his memory at one point in the series leading to him becoming the masked warrior named Sirius. He's a deadly Paladin, that can easily stand toe-to-toe with Marth, and could factor into Warriors in some interesting ways if they play with his memory loss.
