10 Facts You (Probably) Did Not Know About Fallout 4

Fallout 4 has a massive open world filled with a ton of NPC you can talk and interact with. With that being said, Fallout 4’s map is twice the size of Skyrim, filled with eleven hundred thousand lines of dialogue. This is more than Fallout 3 and Skyrim’s dialogue combined together.

Many Fallout players are very familiar with using the V.A.T.S. system, but not actually sure how it came about. Well, the V.A.T.S. system was inspired by the game, Burnout, in its crash replay mode. Developers from Bethesda took these modes and reworked it and used some of the ideas to create this  the very well-known innovation, V.A.T.S. systems.

Did you know, the map’s southern border does not limit your exploration at all. You can literally travel eternally and on top of that it’s a really cool place to explore. Be wary, it is very highly radiated so you will definitely want to pack some Rad-X, RadAway or wear a Power Armor suit.

When the in-game date is December 25th, Diamond City will be rehauled with festive Christmas lights and trees. No, this doesn’t mean you can switch your consoles date, to the pre-set time.

In the dugout in Diamond City, there are three paintings hanging on the wall just above a desk. At a first glance, it looks like the famous shot of Napoleon Dynamite riding his horse. Well not exactly, if you look closely you will notice that it is Bethesda’s Game Director, Todd Howard hiding in plain sight.
