PThere has been a Nuketwon easter egg for each time the map has been reused within the Black Ops series. The most recent, being the one that is featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. If the player shoots off all the heads of the mannequins within two minutes, all the mannequins start to attack the player. Creepy, right?
The hidden game mode, Dead Ops Arcade, can be played if punching in “DOA” into the CIA Data System in Call of Duty: Black Ops. Dead Ops Arcade is a twin-stick top-down shooter which shares similar features to the classic zombie’s mode gameplay.
The fan favorite remake, the Giant has two more secret perks that can be obtained. To get Stamin-Up and Deadshot Daquri all you have to do is throw a Monkey Bomb within each of the three teleporters. This will allow either of the two perks, at a random gamble.
Treyarch is famous for putting in Easter Eggs that allow background music to play while killing waves of the undead. In Call of Duty: Black Ops ll’s “Five” map, if the players press the action button on all three of the red telephones, Eminem’s “Won’t Back Down” song will play in the background. It’s a very suiting pick for the situation the four characters are in.
Mystery Letters Solved – Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
On Advanced Warfare’s map Detroit, there is a cinema poster that has the letters D, G, and 2 on it. At first, many players weren’t sure what it meant. Turns out, it was a direct reference to the Wonder Weapon called the WonderWaffe DG-2.

On the map Cove in Black Ops ll, if players look off in the distance, they can see the large cruise ship from the multiplayer map Hijacked.
Breaking Out - Call of Duty: Black Ops
In the main menu in Black Ops, players can break out of the chair and access the computer. All you have to do is press R2 and L2 on PS3 (or RT and LT on Xbox 360, and by shaking the remote and nunchuck on the Wii). The player can then move to the back of the room and access the computer.
Finding Film Reels - Call of Duty: Black Ops
If playing on the Kino der Toten map in Black Ops, players can find three film reels when they teleport to the pack-a-punch room. All you have to do is go up to the designated Pack-a-Punch room and pick one up by pressing the "use" button. The next time somebody with a film reel teleports, they can click the "use" button again when facing the projector, putting the reel into the projector and playing the creepy films.
Jump Scare Alert - Call of Duty: Black Ops II
If players on the Buried map go to the Pack-a-Punch room and quick scope the top left of the church, a jump scare will pop up. It's pretty scary, you have been warned.
Weeping Angels - Call of Duty: Black Ops III
There are two easter eggs in the Black Ops III's version of Nuketown. This time, instead of shooting off the heads of the mannequins, if the player shoots off all the arms, the mannequins will follow the player. If you turn around and look at them they will stop moving. Some have speculated that this is a reference to the Weeping Angels in Doctor Who, which had the same concept.
