Final Fantasy XV
You wouldn’t think that a Final Fantasy could possibly offer easy PS4 trophies and even a reasonably obtainable Platinum. Here’s an entry to a series known for having hundreds of hours of gameplay, massive bosses, and an open world full of mysteries. But, it turns out that even though the game can be time consuming, grabbing the trophies on offer isn’t actually very difficult. Only one is tied to difficulty, but once that’s completed you can just set the game to easy and rock on.
The most time-consuming challenges will be to level up each of your party members’ specific skills. They aren’t difficult in any way, they just require you to invest some time. The Tortoise Toppler may seem like the hardest trophy on offer, but if you set yourself up well, it’s actually pretty straightforward.
Expect a lengthy run to get everything done, but before you know it your count of shiny rewards will increase by quite a bit.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Surprisingly enough, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has a very simple trophy list for PS4 players to run through. Only one is tied to the competitive multiplayer side of things, and it only requires you to win five matches (and they don’t even have to be in a row). The most challenging part will definitely be anything revolving around Zombies in Spaceland, as this group of ten trophies can make this one of the hardest Platinums of the month to obtain for some hunters. But, with some guides and a few skilled players willing to help out, you’ll be able to knock out even that.
The main game is basically a series of side missions you have to complete, none of which are especially difficult. When it comes to completing any objective on a higher difficulty, simply take your time and use the AI to do most of the dirty work.
Watch Dogs 2
Ubisoft definitely got it right with this sequel. A beautiful, sunny open world, protagonists that are actually likable, a wonderful stealth system, and true choice when it comes to how you approach the action made for one of the best games of the fall. It also made for a fun little playground for trophy and achievement hunters.
Watch Dogs 2’s San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Oakland areas are large and full of life. There is plenty to do as you explore the world, seeking out upgrades for your powerful technology so that you can overthrow Blume and its CtOS. There are also a lot of Side Operations for you to embark on, giving you more insight into the world and the people inhabiting it. The best part is that all of this feeds into the vast trophy list on offer, and even makes for one of the least difficult PS4 Platinums of the year.
Do note that there is some multiplayer that you must get into, but it’s not overly difficult. You’ll have to get creative with how you approach hacking another player, but that’s where all the fun lies.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection gives players on the PS4 a shot at three different Platinum trophies, all on one disc. You have AC II, Brotherhood, and Revelations complete with their open worlds, collectibles, and plenty of sequences to run through, all of which come with trophies for your PS4 collection.
Now we’ll be honest here, obtaining a Platinum Trophy in any of these titles will require a lot of work. However, with over 100 shiny baubles to boost your ranking, you can’t really go wrong here, even if you don’t get 100% of everything that’s on offer.
Batman: The Telltale Series – Episode 4
Leave it to Telltale Games to always have a nice treat for all you trophy and achievement hunters out there. While the games are thrilling to play and offer deep, engaging narratives for players to explore, the trophies for these games are always very simple. How simple, you ask? You simply just have to beat the episode and you’ll get each and every one.
If a free list of shiny gold, silver, and bronze rewards isn’t enough for you, look at it this way. Once you complete all the episodes, you get one of the only guaranteed PS4 Platinums of the year. And who doesn’t like that?
