Week 5 of Stage 2 is finally upon us in the Overwatch League, which means it’s time for the Stage 2 playoffs matches. Before that, though, we have a whole week of matches to determine who’s going to lock up the second and third seeds for the playoffs. New York looks pretty comfortable right now, but there’s a huge clash coming up for the next two positions.
The Los Angeles Gladiators have undergone the most drastic improvement in this Stage of the Overwatch League, thanks in no small part to the acquisition of Fissure. They’re in the running for a playoffs spot right now, but they’re going to run up against some tough competition in the Fusion and the Uprising.
On the other hand, both Seoul and London have a good shot at making their way into the playoffs as well. But while their competition isn’t as tough this week, they’ll need to be absolutely perfect in their victories if they want to lock it up.
Stage 2 of the Overwatch League will run until March 26, in which the top teams will compete for a playoffs title. From now until then, we’ll be seeing three matches per day from Wednesday to Saturday.
