Display Figures
Ubisoft usually includes gorgeous display statues with every purchase of an Assassin’s Creed Collector’s Edition. If you’re lucky enough to find a Legendary Edition of Origins for sale somewhere, that could make a really good gift for series fans just for that statue alone. It features Bayek, armed with his bow and arrows, and accompanied by his eagle companion Senu.
If you’re looking for the statues from past games, however, eBay still has a decent number of listings for them, though it might stretch your budget a little. For those who don’t really want to spend hundreds of dollars on a statue, the Assassin’s Creed figurine collection is a nice alternative that gives you smaller display figures for each of the protagonists, and at a much cheaper cost as well.
Novels
The lore of the Assassin’s Creed universe is ridiculously deep, and it’s often not enough to simply play through the games themselves if you want a full picture of what’s going on in Ubisoft’s world. That’s where the book series comes in. If you know a fan who’s deeply invested in the game’s lore, these books help to flesh out the stories of the various assassins we’ve been introduced to over the past decade.
The latest book in the series is titled Desert Oath, which explores the childhood of Bayek from Origins. It was released in October, and would be a wonderful gift for any fan who’s been following the book series. If not, you could always just pick up the entire collection and let them dive straight into it this holiday season.
Costumes and Apparel
Halloween might be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still buy cool Assassin’s Creed-related costumes for fans of the series. The more elaborate costumes tend to get a little expensive, though, so you can consider purchasing series-related apparel and clothing instead.
The official Ubisoft store offers a pretty wide selection of shirts, hoodies, and rings that will definitely put a smile on any fan’s face. If you know someone who’s a fan of the official movie for some reason, the store also has Callum’s premium cashmere coat for sale. Though that one is going for $599, so maybe spend your money elsewhere. Most of the hoodies range between $30 to $60, so they do make for pretty affordable gifts that you can get for the most diehard fans.
Games
Though we expect that most Assassin’s Creed fans would pick up the latest games at launch, or at least a little after release, the games themselves are always good for gifting to series fans if they haven’t played the newest ones yet. Assassin’s Creed Origins is the newest entry in the series, and it introduces a number of RPG-centric elements to shake up the traditional formula to great effect.
Alternatively, you could also look into the smaller side games that aren’t as popular as the mainline ones. Assassin’s Creed Rogue was released alongside Unity a few years back, and while it wasn’t available for the current gen consoles, it is widely considered to be superior to Unity. Liberation is another fantastic one for fans to check out if they haven’t already, and it’s available on the PS Vita, though an HD remastered version was later released for PS3 and Xbox 360.
