You won’t be able to get the platinum quite yet, since you’re going to have to wait until much later in the year for the fifth and final episode to release, but you can begin working towards it now by playing episodes one and two.

Episode two, which is the only one to release in 2019, continued the story of the Diaz brothers, Sean and Daniel, as they’re on the run from the police.

Just as was the case with the hit first season, Season 2’s trophy list is pretty straightforward and will likely remain that way for the remaining episodes.

Simply complete each of the episodes, keep an eye out for a few collectibles along the way, and jot down a couple of sketches, and you’ll be well on the way to the platinum once it arrives.

If you’re just jumping into episode two now, we even have a guide on how to get all of the collectibles so that you don’t miss any.

Dangerous Driving

Dangerous Driving is the spiritual successor to Criterion’s old Burnout games, even using the same menu design as 2004’s Revenge. It’s all about driving quickly and causing huge crashes.

While its low budget is certainly noticeable and it’s unlikely to be the arcade racer renaissance we hoped for, it’s a lot of fun. Thankfully, the trophy list is pretty simple too.

You’ll have to do a lot of winning to get the platinum, but just completing each of the game’s 69 events will likely see you get 90% of what’s on offer.

You’ll gets bronzes for unlocking new vehicles, silvers for completing every event in a class, and even a gold for winning just one Road Rage event, which you’ll get the chance to do within the first half an hour of playing, and it’s very easy.

Then, to clear up the platinum, it’s a simple case of clearing up all the events, driving 100 miles in each car, and winning everything you can. Even if beating everything proves too tough, you’ll get more than enough trophies in just a couple of hours with Dangerous Driving.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season

When it was announced that Telltale Games was closing down, we all thought that we’d never see the conclusion of their flagship series. Thankfully though, Skybound came to the rescue to give fans the closure they needed.

The Walking Dead series has traditionally featured some of the easiest trophy lists around. Play from start to finish once, without thinking about anything else, and you’d have yourself a nice and easy platinum trophy added to your collection.

Now, while it’s not quite so simple for the final season, you can still get every single one while playing through just once. You’ll still get a few bronzes and silvers for completing each of the four episodes, but you need to do a few additional things along the way.

They’re all pretty simple, asking you to do things such as find a couple of collectibles (all of which can be found easily with a guide) or interact with certain characters, or even pet the dog you meet early on.

Since we’re not going to see a Telltale game release again, it’s worth jumping into the final season to take advantage of the easy trophies while you still can.

Access Denied

trophies

Access Denied is one of the few games released so far in 2019 that seems to have been designed with trophy hunters in mind. Not only is it super short, without you being able to beat it in just an hour or two, but you don’t really have to go out of your way for the trophies.

Let’s get the bad news out of the way first, though. There’s no platinum to unlock in Access Denied. Instead, the list is made up of 11 golds and two silvers, and they’re all for simple things.

Just completing all the simple puzzle levels will net you more than half of them, then you need to do things like skip a level (which requires no more than a press of one button), complete a level twice, and sit on a level for three minutes. It’s ridiculously simple.

It’s not the most imaginative puzzle game, seeing you basically acting like a hacker trying to open boxes, but its great if you’re trying to boost your trophy level quickly.

The Occupation

The Occupation is the return of White Paper Games, the developers of Ether One, and it’s a first-person detective game with a unique structure.

The game takes place over four real-time hours, and you need to find every clue you can to solve a mystery involving politicians and a recent terrorist attack.

How good you are at avoiding the game’s guards or working out the environmental puzzles determines how long the game will be, but it’ll never be more than the basic four hours. You can pick up a good chuck on the game’s trophies in that time too.

Also, best of all, every one of The Occupation’s trophies and gold or silver, many asking you to do little more than complete the game and follow some of the leads.

You might need a couple of playthroughs to grab everything, and a guide or two for the collectibles, but The Occupation both tells an interesting story and gives you a chance to up your gold and silver trophy counts.

Nubla 2

Picking up right where the first game ended, Nubla 2 is another adventure game from Gamera Nest SL. Unless you’re invested in the characters, who return for the sequel, you’re likely more interested in the extremely easy platinum the game offers.

There are 32 trophies altogether, including that all important platinum, and it can be unlocked in one playthrough, which lasts between two and two and a half hours.

Also, all but eight of them are secret, but don’t let that scare you. Most of the secret ones ask you to do simple things like use a certain power for the first time or reach certain parts of the story.

With the help of a guide to get the couple of missable trophies, you should be able to get the platinum in just a couple of hours.

Planet RIX-13

Planet RIX-13, trophies

Another strange adventure game that has an easy trophy list and released in 2019 is Planet RIX-13. With just 18 to collect, including a platinum, it’s great for boosting your collection.

Also, best of all, you can get all of them in as little at 20 minutes. However, you will need to follow a guide to do it that quickly because a lot of them are missable.

The missable ones ask you to do silly things during the story, such as dying from radiation (which can be done after a certain point), while others just ask you to follow along and complete the game. It’s pretty easy too.

So that you can do it all in one sitting, you could follow this excellent guide on playstationtrophies. You’re not going to want to play the game more than once, so be sure to make the most of your 20 minutes with it.
