Cross-play and cross-progression are always good features to hear about these days, and Rainbow Six: Extraction has both. You can play with friends across all platforms in three-player co-op using their Ubisoft accounts when the game launches on Sept. 18. This includes PlayStation and Xbox consoles, PC, and even cloud gaming services.

The cross-progression allows for cross-saves across all of those platforms as well. You’ll be able to pick up and play the game on everything it’s available for as long as you sign in to your Ubisoft account. And as a bonus, those who play Rainbow Six: Siege will receive additional cosmetics and other bonuses for both games.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Gameplay

Biggest Reveals of E3 2021 Day 3

A western release for The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles was initially revealed back in April, and on day 3 of E3 2021, Capcom provided some gameplay. In the video above, we get to see Phoenix Wright’s 19th-century ancestor Ryunosuke Naruhodou in action. And, in an Ace Attorney court, that translates to a lot of action.

The two gameplay segments are Dance of Deduction and Summation Examination. In the Dance of Deduction, we see our protagonist team up with Herlock Sholmes in London as Ryunosuke needs to point out flaws in his partner’s deduction. For the Summation Examination, Ryunosuke is in the process of trying to point out contradicting statements between jurors in court to sway their way of thinking.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is coming to Switch, PS4, and PC on July 27.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has received plenty of trailers at this point, and, of course, it got another one during Capcom’s E3 2021 stream on day 3. However, this one came with the news that a demo for the game is coming on June 25. That’s perfect timing, as the game is set to launch on July 9 for Nintendo Switch and PC.

There’s also some free post-release content coming to the game on July 15 in the form of a Palamute monstie. The story trailer itself gives us another look at the complicated relationship between the protagonist Red, a Wyvernian girl named Ena, and the legendary Rathalos.

Continuing with the Monster Hunter news, Monster Hunter Rise also had a notable info drop during Capcom’s stream. The trailer above shows off future collaborations with Monster Hunter Stories 2 and other Capcom properties, as well as a roadmap for the coming months.

The roadmap teases what’s to come in versions 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 of Monster Hunter Rise. Players can look forward to new DLC that includes multiple new event quests, cosmetics, and crossover content. Version 3.1 updates are coming on July 24, and Monster Hunter Rise is out right now on Nintendo Switch.

Resident Evil Village DLC & RE:Verse Coming Soon

Biggest Reveals of E3 2021 Day 3

Resident Evil didn’t exactly show up in spectacular fashion on day 3 of E3 2021, but there were a few notable announcements nonetheless. There aren’t any specifics just yet, but Capcom is working on some Resident Evil Village DLC. There wasn’t even a teaser trailer, but you can listen to the game’s producer Tsuyoshi Kanda speak about it in the timestamped section of Capcom’s stream above.

The other RE news has to do with the RE:Verse multiplayer game. It’ll be releasing next month, and if you’ve purchased Resident Evil Village, you’ll be able to play RE:Verse free of charge.

Biggest Reveals of E3 2021 Day 3

Forza Horizon 5 was one of the biggest reveals from the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase stream, but Playground Games wasn’t done there. This video is a more focused sit-down with the developers to talk about game modes, customization, and what went into bringing Forza Horizon to Mexico in the series’ largest map to date.

One of the more interesting features mentioned was the Forza Link, which keeps track of your progress alongside the progress of everyone else playing the game. It’ll make matchmaking easier by automatically finding players who like to play the same modes as the ones you’re looking to play.

You’ll be able to experience Forza Link and other gameplay features when Forza Horizon 5 launches on Nov. 9.

Biggest Reveals of E3 2021 Day 3

Dreamscaper is a roguelite that contains gameplay elements from brawlers, top-down shooters, and dungeon crawlers. Players take on the role of Cassidy as they live her regular life during the day, then fight to survive within her subconscious inside her nightmares. It’s an interesting game and premise, to say the least.

The news here is that Dreamscaper now has a release date after being announced back in 2019. The game is launching on Aug. 12 for PC and Nintendo Switch. And you can check out the new trailer above to see some action-packed gameplay for the game that showcases magic, monster, and more.
