Dig Site

Going to the museum with your friends to show off your perfect dinosaur collection is very rewarding but why not bring your love of dinosaurs outside of the museum and onto your island itself? For example, this dig site that was created by 45vong on Reddit is very cool-looking.

They used the terraforming tool to create a deep ditch that’s full of fossils, shovels, and other neat objects. You could even go all the way and place dinosaur fossils at the entrance of your town to really get the vibe going.

Maybe even change your town tune to the Jurassic Park theme — just go wild!

Extravagant Path to Your House

Let’s be real for a second. We all know that the first thing we all want to see when we visit a friend’s island is their house. Is it dirty? Is it decorated nicely? Is there a toilet?

If you go into terraforming knowing that, then not only should all of the rooms be immaculate, but the path to your home needs to be even better.

As you can see in this video of an Animal Crossing player walking through the gorgeous waterfall valley path, it’s painting the picture that “wow, this path must be leading to a crazy-brilliant home.” And if you’re skilled in interior design, they should leave your island dumbfounded.

Waterfall View

SimSativa on Reddit shared this wonderful photo of them standing in front of a waterfall that sits right in front of their cute home. And thanks to those Mushroom Lamps that they crafted, the entire entrance looks very mystical and magical.

You can also see that they built two of the same inclines on the side so that people have easy access to the main attraction here, which is obviously the house itself.

Japan!

Aho00n on Reddit was very inspired by Japan so they decided to terraform their own version of a quaint and relaxed Japanese town. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the vending machines are all over the place, and the streets alongside the fencing is so well done.

Is there a way to just literally copy another player’s town? I don’t think I even have half the terraforming skills of this dedicated Animal Crossing enthusiast.

Literally Nothing

Djmudkips has done it; they have done the unthinkable. They have created a deserted island that is actually deserted. They’ve cleared every little tree, weed, and a bunch of other stuff on their island to create a barren wasteland.

As you can see in the photo on the right though, the buildings and villagers have been moved onto the beach and the only thing that was unable to be changed was the Resident Services building.

Not sure what they’re going to do with this space but perhaps they can throw an island version of Coachella or something. Call it Fyre Festival.

A Fabulous Island Entrance

And for the last Animal Crossing terraforming idea, this charming island entrance from SailorKelsey_ is absolutely splendid. The fountain square garden in the back mixed with this waterfall valley looks like such a warm welcome into one’s town.

I can only imagine how the rest of the island is decorated!
