7 Games on Xbox Games Pass That’d Be Perfect on the Switch
Sunset Overdrive
Before Insomniac Games gifted us with an incredible little action game by the name of Spider-Man, the developers put out Sunset Overdrive on the Xbox One back in 2014.
This unique third-person shooter put you in the shoes of an employee of FizzCo, who is on a mission to destroy a whole bunch of mutated humans. By using a vast array of weapons and using the game’s traversal system, you get to make a whole big mess out of Sunset City.
With all of the colors, gameplay variety, and unique weaponry that Sunset Overdrive brings with it, you could just imagine how much Splatoon fans on Switch would eat this game up. It’s basically a Splatoon game, but like, for mature Splatoon gamers, who want a more single-player focused experience.
Right now, the game is only on Xbox One and PC, but hopefully, that might change soon.

The Halo Series (Master Chief Collection, Wars)
I can’t even begin to imagine seeing any sort of Halo game on Switch, but if Microsoft is really planning on bringing some of their games over to the Switch, it could possibly happen.
Imagine playing Halo 2 and 3 multiplayer modes online on the Switch with your friends on the go. In my opinion, those two games are when the series hit its stride, especially with the insanely fun multiplayer modes.
Having a collection of Halo 1-4 as well as Halo Wars on my Nintendo console would be a dream come true and since the first few Halo games don’t ask for much, graphically, seeing them on Switch shouldn’t be a problem. The only problem would be the issue with Nintendo’s horrid voice chat situation, but there’s always Skype and Discord.
And if this happens, maybe we can see Master Chief take a spot in the Super Smash Bros. roster; I know that it’s far fetched but just imagine the possible match ups.

Life is Strange (1, Before the Storm, 2)
Dontnod Entertainment’s introduction into the world of interactive storytelling started with their release of Life is Strange back in 2015. It stars a girl named Max Caulfield, an 18-year old girl who finds herself gaining a supernatural power, the ability to rewind time.
The graphic adventure series has now spanned a full sequel, a short prequel, and even a spin-off game, as well as a graphic novel that fleshes out the universe.
The excellent story-telling, soundtrack, and the difficult choices to be made, makes Life is Strange a top-contender for a Switch port. Right now, the entire series is on Xbox Game Pass and bringing it over one day would make total sense.
Square Enix is the publisher behind this series, and lately, they’ve been very buddy-buddy with Nintendo, recently announcing that they would be bringing multiple classic Final Fantasy titles such as Final Fantasy VII, IX, X, and XII, to the Switch.

Batman: Return to Arkham
Before Insomniac Games came and took the crown with Spider-Man PS4, the Batman Arkham series took the cake for one of the best licensed superhero franchises ever created. Rocksteady Games did something truly incredible and unique and captured the feeling of being Batman oh so perfectly.
Flying over the city of Arkham as the dark knight himself, beating up bad guys, and driving around with the bat car, was awesome back then when the games came out, and it would be quite fun to experience the amazing story over again on the Switch.
The Batman Arkham series will be known for making superhero games great again, so let’s give more people access to Rocksteady’s fantastic franchise by bringing it over to the Switch via Xbox Game Pass.

Tomb Raider Reboot Trilogy
Lara Croft’s rebooted trilogy is probably one of the best reboots to ever grace our presence, thanks to the developer, Crystal Dynamics. This trilogy gave us a real, human Lara Croft and didn’t sexualize her like the older Tomb Raider games.
Now, the trilogy is very very good-looking which might not translate over well to the Switch, due to the consoles somewhat inferior graphical fidelity compared to the other current-gen systems. There is a chance that the first one would run like butter, considering it was beautiful as ever when it came out on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Another Square Enix-published series, it would be a simple way to introduce Nintendo fans to our famous heroine, Lara. Also, like every other game on Switch, we could take it on the go, which would automatically make this version, the best version.

Ori and the Blind Forest
Ori and the Blind Forest is one of those “once in a generation” type of video games. Coming from Microsoft Studios themselves, Ori and the Blind Forest can be described as a sort of a Metroidvania mixed with elements of Rayman Legends due to its backtracking and watercolor art style.
This puzzle platformer oozes charm and style that the Switch would complement very well and would fit right at home next to other colorful platformers from Nintendo.
Thanks to the cartoony visuals, Ori and the Blind Forest would more than definitely run well on Nintendo’s hybrid console and would mark the first time that the game has come to a console other than the Xbox One.
If we had to choose one Microsoft property to come to the Switch, let it be Ori and the Blind Forest.

DmC: Devil May Cry
With Ninja Theory, the developer’s behind DmC: Devil May, bringing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice over to the Nintendo Switch this year, how rad would it be to get another one of their titles on Nintendo’s console?
Devil May Cry 5 is coming out in just about a week, so for those folks who have never experienced a Devil May Cry game before, what better way to jump in than with the 2013 reboot.
DmC doesn’t require players to have any prior knowledge on Capcom’s hack and slash series and being able to take it on the go for the first time ever would be a treat to see.
Being that the game originally came out on PS3 and Xbox 360, the Switch shouldn’t have any issues getting this 6-year-old game to run smoothly. With an 85 on Metacritic, bringing DmC over to the Switch is a no brainer and fans of other flashy action games such as Bayonetta will eat this one right up.
