From Sept. 3 to Sept. 17, the PlayStation Store’s Totally Digital Sale will have quite a number of games discounted for players to choose from.
PS4, PS3, and PS Vita games are all up for grabs but with the number of games available, you might not know what to pick.
So, here’s a handy list of some of the games we think you should buy during the Totally Digital Sale.
A Hat in Time
Endearing, adorable, and joyful, you should snatch up A Hat in Time for an enjoyable experience.
A 3D platformer, the game takes you through a variety of missions that you need to run, jump, and parkour through to get to the end.
There is plenty to do within each mission from following the objectives to finding collectibles hidden among the structures.
We particularly enjoyed playing the game and you can take a gander at our review here.
But don’t just take our word for it. You can nab up A Hat In Time for $14.99 in the PlayStation store for your chance to smile throughout the entirety of this platformer.
Dear Esther: Landmark Edition
Originally a Half-Life 2 mod, Dear Esther is a storytelling marvel that will take you through a meaningful and melancholy journey. It’s honestly a game that should be experienced firsthand instead of explained by someone else.
You follow a man through his letters to his wife as you explore an island further and further as the story is laid out before you.
Add in an emotional soundtrack, beautiful scenery, and heartfelt narration, Dear Esther creates a sorrowful gameplay experience that will surely be memorable to whoever plays it.
You can find Dear Esther in the PlayStation store on sale for $6.49.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a meaty RPG full of quests, lore, and action that will keep you entertained throughout the entirety of the story. There are plenty of side quests and huge maps to easily keep you busy as well.
Granted, there is a learning curve to the game which is to be expected from such a content-rich and technical game but once you get the hang of it everything will just fall into place.
We even gave this game a 5/5 in our very own review which doesn’t happen very often.
Of course, you can form your own opinions if you choose to play the game. You can find it during the PSN sale for $35.99.
Human Fall Flat
A rather unique take on physics-based puzzlers and platformers, Human Fall Flat uses wacky mechanics to make even the simplest task hard to complete.
It’s mostly due to the fact that you effectively have two controls for your character.
Jump and grab.
However, jumping is entirely dependent on the objects you’re jumping from and you always need both hands to grab onto something.
Honestly, Human Fall Flat is another hard game to explain in words but it is undoubtedly a fun and challenging experience. Add in multiplayer with friends and hilarity ensues.
For those of you who still have yet to give this game a try, you can find it during the sale for $7.49.
Life is Strange Episodes 2, 3, 4 & 5
Life is Strange is a wild and emotional journey with consequences and outcomes dependent upon player choices throughout the story.
Add in a bit of time manipulation and you get a supernatural twist on the story we follow. The characters are gripping, the gameplay is unique, and the plot itself will have you on the edge of your seat.
Life is Strange is surely a game to be remembered and you can grab each episode for yourself at $0.99 each.
Superhot
The first person shooter-esque game Superhot also uses time manipulation in its gameplay and mechanics. However, with this game, time is entirely dependent upon the player’s movement.
As long as you remain still, so does time. This turns gameplay into a wild Matrix experience with dodging bullets, taking out enemies, and throwing projectiles.
Superhot’s VR counterpart is also on sale alongside of it so you can literally feel like a cool action movie star if you so choose.
You can find this action-packed experience on sale for $14.99.
The Wolf Among Us
The Wolf Among Us is a wild take on the ever after for all of our favorite fairytale characters.
Based on the Fables comic series, The Wolf Among Us takes us on a mysterious ride as we navigate around all of the unique characters we encounter to solve a murder.
Like the other Telltale games, your choices determine how the other characters react and respond to you. Your actions also have consequences so what you say and what you do really matter.
Overall, The Wolf Among Us is a great storytelling experience that is made even better with all of the people you encounter.
This last darling on our list can be found during the Totally Digital sale for $7.49.
