5 Best Overwatch League Player Performances From Stage 3 Week 4

18-year-old DPS player for Los Angeles Valiant had a great game on Saturday against Florida Mayhem as one of his signature heroes Genji, netting him Player of the Day alongside Note from Boston Uprising.

Agilities stood out this week due to his on-point Dragonblades, often netting him a 2K at least with each use. Above we see him take out Sayaplayer, Zuppeh, Zebbosai, and Manneten out of D.Va’s mech in a span of a few seconds, while below he gets another 3K while taking out Sayaplayer, Zuppeh, and Zebbosai yet again and strangely enough in the exact same order.

He was also featured on the Sour Patch Turning Point clip for his Dragonblade against Los Angeles Gladiators on Saturday on Numbani wherein he took out the enemy support while also finishing off a Sombra while hacked to turn the tide for the map and eventually net them the match win overall.

While Agilities’ damage, elimination, and other stats were consistent, he stood out due to his expert use of Genji’s devastating ult time and time again.

FISSURE – LOS ANGELES GLADIATORS – WINSTON

Tank player for Los Angeles Gladiators Fissure had a stellar performance as Winston on Friday against Houston Outlaws, allowing them to win 3-2 and rest comfortably at fourth place in the official Overwatch League standings at the end of last week.

Besides the fact that his Primal Rage usage was on point as seen above and below, on Friday he was a standout due to the figures he was putting up as the character. Along with almost 31,000 damage done alongside 104 eliminations with 31 being final blows, Fissure knocked back enemy players a whopping 316 times. Essentially, with numbers like that almost every time Fissure was using Winston’s jump-pack ability he was disrupting an enemy player’s movements, which is a huge help to his team’s DPS opportunities in the long run.

Fissure left London Spitfire back in February due to struggles with ‘synergy’ with the rest of the team according to a statement from his old coach, but he seems to be adapting quite well to his role with the Gladiators with numbers as high as he is getting.

STRIKER – BOSTON UPRISING – JUNKRAT

While Striker is know for his Tracer plays (and did have some great ones as her this week), he played exceptionally well as Junkrat against Dallas Fuel on Friday.

Above and below we can see some of his most impressive plays, the first when he expertly threw in a Concussion Mine to kill Cocco as Orisa and Seagull as Junkrat, and secondly when he flanked Seagull at the beginning of Junkertown to completely shut down his ulting Rip-Tire.

Of course we would be remiss not to include some noteworthy Tracer plays as well, like down below when he got a 3K and successfully stuck the enemy Winston in the process.

And although he didn’t get the Pulse Bomb in the play below, Striker managed another 3K taking out the enemy Widowmaker, Winston, and Tracer.

Boston Uprising remains at the top of the league standings at the end of last week, largely due to the consistent gameplay from DPS player Striker.

BDOSIN – LONDON SPITFIRE – ZENYATTA

Giving support players the shout out they deserve, this week Bdosin from London Spitfire was a standout due to his quick pick abilities as Zenyatta against Los Angeles Gladiators on Thursday.

Although London Spitfire lost the match in a close 3-2 to the Gladiators, Bdosin showed off his long distance orb volley skills first against Winston on Iilos when Spitfire was coming back from a 2-0 lead for the Gladiators, and again below taking out BigGoose as Mercy from almost half the map away on Oasis.

London Spitfire has lost its lead in the standings during stage three despite being in second at the end of stage two and champions at the end of stage one, but Bdosin continues to be a Zenyatta player to watch alongside Shaz for the Gladiators and JJoNak for New York Excelsior.

LiNkzr – HOUSTON OUTLAWS – WIDOWMAKER

LiNkzr made our list last week for the best player performances of stage three week three, and he’s back again this week yet again for his amazing plays as Widowmaker.

He was one of the two Players of the Day on Wednesday alongside Neko from Boston Uprising when Houston Outlaws went up against Los Angeles Valiant. He got almost 12,000 damage done with 27 eliminations and 20 final blows. However, his most impressive figure is his 17.36% critical hit accuracy.

Just last week LiNkzr had a 16.34% critical hit accuracy with Widowmaker, so his numbers are clearly improving as the weeks go by. His headshot consistency and ability to stay alive in team fights makes him one of the best Widowmaker players in the league right now.
