Transference

You may remember Transference as that VR game that was being made by a company founded by Elijah Wood, alongside Ubisoft. It has now arrived, and while there’s no sign of Wood in the game, it’s pretty terrifying experience. It’s a short game that sees you explore a house to find out what happened to the family that lived there. It’s not that simple, however, as it all takes place in a digital world that’s created from the minds of the family that have been connected to a computer. It can be played with or without VR, but it’s incredibly un-nerving either way.

If you can get through the 90 minutes of terror, however, you’ll get most of the trophies without even thinking about it. All but three of the short list cannot be missed, and you’ll finish the playthrough with over 80 percent completion. Unfortunately, there’s no platinum to go for, but the remaining bronze trophies can be picked up with the help of a guide if you’re after 100 percent.

Jack ‘n Jill DX

Now, Jack ‘n Jill DX probably isn’t a game you recognise, nor does it look like a particularly modern game. Its a one button platformer in a monochromatic style and all you need to do is move around obstacles so that you can reunite the titular characters.

It’s an okay game, but it’s the easy trophies that are the real draw. There are just 12 trophies in the list, which is made up of 11 golds and the all important platinum. Then, with the help of a guide you can get all of them in less than half an hour. A good portion of them can be unlocked in the first level, but you won’t need to dedicate long to get all of them. Then, as an added bonus, the PS Vita version has a separate trophy list, so you could get two platinums and 22 gold in less than an hour if you have both systems. Jack ‘N Jill DX is undoubtedly one of the easiest trophy lists around.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

Huge open world action games don’t tend to have the easiest of trophy lists, but Spider-Man bucks that trend. Of course, it’ll take quite a while to unlock all of them, since the game is about 20 hours long, but most of them will unlock along the way. There are loads of collectibles to find and side missions to complete, but you’re shown the way and they’re all a joy to work through.

Almost every icon you see on Spider-Man’s map is linked in some way to a trophy, whether they be the story missions or the pigeons you have to chase. The best thing to do if you’re after the platinum is do everything you can to hit 100% completion, unlocking all the skills and suits. Once you’ve done that, the platinum should pop. It might be smart to work towards the side content before you finish the main story, so that you minimize the repetition when you’re clearing up. Swinging around New York is so fun, though, that however you do it is fun.
