Today’s the day, folks! That’s right, Disney+‘s eagerly-anticipated Star Wars spin-off TV series, The Book of Boba Fett, is available to stream now.
To celebrate its launch on the streaming platform, the House of Mouse has dropped a brand new featurette shedding light on some behind-the-scenes footage for the show. Feel free to check out the freshly-cut clip down below:
Clocking in at just under a minute long, the new ‘Being Boba Fett’ video spotlights the one and only bounty hunter at the heart of the series, and sees key members of the production team – Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez – wax lyrical about the Māori-Scottish-Irish actor behind the infamous mask, Temuera Morrison.
Temuera Morrison is an incredible actor. He’s an incredible presence. What he brings to the performance of Boba is just awesome.
Interestingly, Rodriguez describes the 61 year-old actor’s portrayal of the eponymous tracker as “likeable,” which is pretty fascinating considering Fett is ostensibly a villain in the Star Wars universe.
Of course, there’s always room for grey areas between the good and bad, which is obviously a common theme that’s explored in-depth in Disney’s galaxy far, far away.
