Vondel is Warzone’s newest map, dropping with Season 4 on June 14. Like other DMZ Exclusion Zones, it’s full of locations to visit and items players need to extract with. Here’s where to find the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop in Warzone’s DMZ mode.
Following Season 4, a tonne of new missions and objectives were revealed for DMZ players. One mission to unlock the PHALANX Faction, Icebreaker, requires players to visit the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop. We’re sure it’ll feature in more (and future) missions, so it’s well worth learning its location.
Vondel Zoo Dead Drop Exact Location
Unsurprisingly, Vondel Zoo Dead Drop is in Vondel. It’s also at the Zoo POI. We figured you could probably work that our for yourself, but we thought we’d mention it just in case so we’re all on the same page.
Specifically, Vondel Zoo is located in the southwest portion of the new map.
The Vondel Zoo Dead Drop is trickier to locate. It’s just south of one the buildings at the Zoo’s west, shown in the image below. Its precise location is in map grid D7, which should help you head over to where you need to be.
Now you know where the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop is, it’s a matter of what it is. Like the other Dead Drops – like the Zaya Observatory one – it’s a white dumpster that players can interact with in a way they can’t other dumpsters.
It’ll stand out with an outline and, in Vondel Zoo’s case, sits just south of the building you can see on the prior screenshot. It’s past a row of three standard dumpsters and close to a ladder. See the image below for exactly what you’re searching for.
Once you’ve located it, you can crack on with whatever it is you need to deposit or extract. Bear in mind that the Zoo is typically well guarded, especially with AI in and around the animal enclosures. It can be a bit of a pain to navigate.
We found a good way to avoid unwanted gunfights is to drive round the southern side of Vondel Zoo and come up the road that runs north on Vondel Zoo’s west. This means you can hop the wall (on the left of the image above) and access the Dead Drop with minimal fuss.
